Tryst Addis Kazanchis ትሪስት አዲስ ካዛንቺስ

Word is... The interior is quite the virtuoso. The insta-friendly atmosphere and decoration are the real draw. I believe I hold up very well to even severe scrutiny of the cafe's concept, which is probably why so many hot locals have gathered around. #wrap

Food and coffee was good but not the best I've had. Vibes were impeccable. Lots of beautiful decor and plants. Reggae music in the background which makes for the chillest vibes. Would recommend and would come again.

As a visitor visiting Addis, you do feel dismayed by the lack of fine dining and drinking establishments in town. But Tryst is an exception. When you walk in, you could easily think you're a bar in New York, London, or Melbourne. This place has a nice vibe, with the DJ spinning RnB and board games are aplenty. The drinks and service are good, and I had an elevated gomen besega with lamb, which instantly made it one of my favourite dishes. The cheesebuger was slightly dry and lacked texture, but I won't penalise them for that too much. Tryst is an exemplar of how Addis is on coming up to be a powerhouse in East Africa. Come here to chill, watch sport, or eat. You won't be disappointed.

I can’t even begin to express how much I love this place. From the food to the music, the service to the sense of community, it’s unlike anywhere else I’ve been in Addis. It feels like a hidden gem where everything just is perfect. Its the perfect spot to unwind with friends after a long day!

Tiny menu but the two Ethiopian items we ordered were brilliant. Our server was friendly and efficient. On Monday, there was live music and two guys played popular songs across the genres and ages. Cozy interior with many design flourishes.

Located in centre of town, Tryst is a good place to spend your evenings. Good range of cocktails, spirits (including local ones) and beers, and good food are served by competent staff. We tried the tibs and shiro (thick tegamino) - both were good.

The vibe is so chill with the arts and breeze. I love how the place was designed to include everyone be it if you wannna watch a game or chill or even work, this place has it all. The food was amazing, especially qeqel to die for . Love this place.
